Withdrawal From the College


A student who discontinues study at Loras College must contact the registrar’s office. The student must e-mail the registrar (registrar@loras.edu) to provide a written record of their request. Questions may be directed to the Office of the Registrar (Keane 121) at 563-588-7810. The student should also contact the Business Office to verify any outstanding balance and, if s/he has any student loans or financial aid, they should contact the Financial Planning Office for information on loan repayment.

The student’s official withdrawal date is the date the student submits the withdrawal form, which will be made available following the exit interview. The official withdrawal date is used to calculate tuition, fees owed, and any refunds for which the student is eligible.
