L.BIO 530 - Advanced Integrative Physiology

Students will evaluate the coordination of physiological processes that underlie homeostasis. This course will emphasize the development of a mechanistic understanding of organ system functions and the integration of physiological functioning across systems to promote the maintenance of a stable internal environment within the human body. Specific systems to be covered include cardiovascular, pulmonary, digestive & endocrine. This course will portray how an integrative physiological approach can reveal new levels of application in the field of biomedical science.
