L.ETH 230 - Business Ethics-EI

A survey of practices and terminology in American (and some other) business cultures; case-study analysis of unethical behavior in business culture; skill-building for comparing the values within business culture to the values within democratic organizations and societies; and the formation of ethical character/ identity. Content overlaps with content and resources in disciplines such as: Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Economics, Sociology, Psychology, CST, Philosophy/Ethics. The course includes real-life case studies of Public Relations crisis–students will analyze how functions of public relations can reconcile ethical conflicts between stakeholders.
