L.SPA 201 - Intermediate Spanish I

SPA-201 is the first course in the two-semester intermediate language sequence of the Spanish curriculum. SPA-210 provides students an introduction to the Communicative Language Teaching approach, wherein class is conducted almost exclusively in Spanish. Students are challenged to use the language for in-class communicative activities, small group conversations, and oral exams. Students expand vocabulary, review intermediate grammatical concepts and strengthen writing skills. The prerequisite for L.SPA 202 is the completion of SPA-201 with the grade of a C or higher.
