Focus on foundational experimental measurements, analyzing data to support claims, assessing laboratory hazard, and identifying chemistry’s relevance to various professions. Major hands-on experiences include: physical measurements, chemical synthesis, filtration, calorimetry, spectroscopy, and quantum modeling. Laboratory only. Offered every fall semester.
