L.EGR 333 - Fluid Mechanics

Credits: 3

The purpose of this course is to introduce the laws of fluid statics and dynamics. Students will learn to analyze both static and dynamic systems utilizing the tools of control volume analysis, differential analysis, boundary conditions, and dimensionless analysis. In addition, students will learn to model various flow conditions, such as turbulent and laminar flow, flow around immersed bodies, and how the shape of the channel will affect fluid flow
Prerequisite: L.MAT 260  and L.EGR 334
Co-requisite: None
General Education Classification: Not Applicable
