L.BIO 285 - Plant Biology

A course designed to introduce students to the basic biology of members of the Plant Kingdom, primarily the vascular plants. Major topical coverage will include evolution, reproduction, physiology, anatomy, developmental morphology, ecology and systematics. Minor topical coverage will include discussion of other photosynthetic groups and plan allies. Three hours lecture and one three-hour laboratory period per week. Fall semester, every other year.
