Academic Standing


Full-time undergraduate students are considered to be in good academic standing if they meet the minimum standards for satisfactory progress towards a degree (Table A) and cumulative grade point average (Table B). Part-time and non-degree seeking students are considered to be in good academic standing if they meet the minimum GPA standards (Table B).

Table B: Minimum GPA Requirements for Good Academic Standing

**The cumulative GPA is a student’s Loras College institutional GPA

A grade of “I” (Incomplete) must be successfully completed in order to be counted toward satisfactory progress and academic good standing.

Academic Standing of all students is automatically reviewed at the conclusion of the fall and spring terms.
