L.CHE 245 - Quantitative Chemistry Credits: 3
A continuation of General Chemistry I (L.CHE 111 ) that builds on the Organic Chemistry (L.CHE 233 and L.CHE 234 ) background. Quantitative Chemistry will survey fundamental principles of physical, analytical, biological, and inorganic chemistry. The course will focus on quantitative problem solving within the content areas: kinetics, equilibrium, acid-base, crystal field theory, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry. This course is intended for science students going on to biochemistry, analytical chemistry, and physical chemistry and replaces the General Chemistry II requirement.
