This class focuses on the relationship between developing and developed countries and the impact of economic progress on the global environment. Who benefits from economic growth and development? Why have some countries grown so rich while others have remained so poor? What has been the effect of economic development on women?
Prerequisite: L.LIB-100, L.LIB-105, L.LIB-110, and one course from L.LIB-120, L.LIB-130, or L.LIB-135
