L.BIO 375 - Conservation Biology-AH Credits: 4
This course examines basic concepts of biological conservation. Topics include structure and function of ecosystems and threats to global biodiversity, including environmental degradation, extinction, and exotic species introductions. Students will use computer simulations and field techniques to learn effective conservation practices. Prerequisite: L.LIB-100, L.LIB-105, L.LIB-110, and a Mathematical Modeling (-FM) course Co-requisite: None General Education Classification: Not Applicable
Lecture/lab One lecture period and one four-hour laboratory/field period per week.
