L.CHE 350 - Biophysical Chemistry Credits: 4
An extended treatment of thermodynamics, equilibrium, and kinetics with application to biological systems. Topics will include the laws of thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium, physical equilibrium, and enzymatic catalysis. Laboratory includes a development of linear least squares analysis and a capstone project where students design their own experiment. Offered every spring semester. Prerequisite: L.CHE 112 or L.CHE 212 ; L.MAT 150 or higher; L.PHY 211 or L.PHY 224 ; L.PHY 291 Co-requisite: None General Education Classification: Not Applicable
