This lab provides students with a broad background in standard organic laboratory skills including the handling of laboratory glassware, purification of organic molecules, preforming basic organic synthesis, and basic methods of the analysis including polarimetry, infrared spectroscopy, and nuclear magnetic resonance. Laboratory only. Offered every spring semester.
