L.CHE 351 - Physical Chemistry

This course treats systematically the fundamental laws and theories of chemistry. An extended treatment is given of the properties and structure of gases, the laws of thermodynamics, the physical transformations of pure substances, the properties of mixtures, phase and chemical equilibrium, and electrochemistry.
Prerequisite: L.CHE 112 or L.CHE 245; L.CHE 112L; L.MAT 150 or above; L.PHY 210 and L.PHY 211, or L.PHY 223 and L.PHY 224
